Hello June: There are several sources including 2 books and 1 set of plans on DVD that give you instructions on building a bread oven. The simplest and least expensive but fully functional is a cob oven. Kiko Denzer has written a book about this type. Then there is "The Bread Builders" by Alan Scott which gives instructions for a brick oven. The one I've followed was obtained through www.traditionaloven.com , author and builder Rado Hand. I scaled Rado's oven down to fit my family size (2 people) and it won't be long before it's ready for bread! I suggest you go to Amazon.com to find the books.
